ASG (Avatar Studio Gift)
Using the Avatar Studio Glitch, any regular player can get uncustomizable items. You don't need anything special, and it's very easy to do! What this glitch does is basically clone with the avatar studio- no hacking required.
Warning: This may change your gender! To change back to your original gender, use the cheat again with a Poptropican that is your gender.
How do you do it?
1. Find a player that is wearing one of these items: Early Poptropica jetpack, Spy Island chameleon suit or grapple bowtie, or the Time Tangled glider wings.
2. Go to an island that isn't colored on the map (non-SUI). Don't go to your friends list or the store!
3. In a new tab, go to the avatar studio and type in their username.
4. Go back to your game and refresh your page.
5. You will now have their entire outfit! To prevent it from changing back to your old outfit, change your skin color by pressing Ctrl and S.

Twisted Thicket Necklace for Non-Members
The Twisted Thicket necklace is personally one of my favorite items, and I was disappointed when I first learned it was a members only item. Fortunately, I found a method to get it for free.
You will need to have Twisted Thicket island completed and a friend that is a member. If you don't have one, click here and add someone from the Poptropica staff list.
1. Go to your friends list.
2. Click on the friend that is a member, and quickly click back on your player. Your profile should show up as having membership!
3. Go to your photos, and select Twisted Thicket island.
4. Find the last photo, in which you'll be wearing the necklace.
5. Click the blue T-shirt icon to customize the outfit in the photo, and you'll be able to customize the necklace!
Poptropica Keyboard Codes
Poptropica has a number of keyboard commands that any player can use.
To do these, press the 'ctrl' key (if you are on a Mac, press the command key instead) while in the game on an island, the shift key, and a letter/number.
Letters (character's looks)
R - Randomizes your character with a costume (will not change your gender, but I recommend saving your costume!)
P - Pumpkin mask
H - Changes your character's hair color
S - Changes your character's skin color
Numbers (emotions/actions, like the ones in common rooms)
For Mac users, you will have to do these without the shift key- Instead, just press command and the number.
1 - Laugh
2 - Cry
3 - Mad
4 - Victory/jump
Extras
(Ctrl/Cmd + shift +) F10 key - Pauses the game (does not work for Macs)
(No Ctrl/Cmd or Shift) S - Stops character when talking
Navigate to the island.
Find the last photo that looks like this.
Copy the necklace.
Closet for Non-Members
Although using the closet is one of the members-only features, you can still have a functioning one if you're not a member! Here's how:
Saving outfits to your closet
1. Go to a SUI island (island that is colored on the map) while you are wearing your outfit that you want to save.
2. Open the menu by clicking it in the top right corner.
3. Click the green T-shirt icon.
4. Click the green button with the hanger and the + sign in the bottom right corner.
5. The game will save, and your outfit will be saved in your closet!
Customizing outfits from your closet
Make sure you have a friend that is a member. (If you don't have one, click here and add someone from the Poptropica staff, they are all members!)
1. Go to your friends list.
2. Click on your friend that's a member, and quickly click back on your character.
3. Their membership should show up on your profile. Click on your closet and click any outfit you want to customize. You'll now be able to customize!
Money Bag Outfit
This isn't really a cheat, but it's still pretty cool nonetheless!
1. Complete the beginning of Escape From Pelican Rock Island, until you get the first photo.
2. Go to your friends list and to your photos.
3. Find the photo that looks like the one pictured below.
4. Click the T-shirt icon to customize, and you can customize a money bag outfit!
